ACCEPTANCE!!

After a lot of grief, and denial by every single Utah office, I have been accepted by Congressman Issa of California. He is a Republican and also happens to be a member of the church. He represents the 49th district of California, which is the area between San Diego and Anaheim. I am so happy! Congressman Issa is a very influential member of Congress. He is involved in several committees, and he has introduced many key pieces of legislation this year. I couldn't be more thrilled at the opportunity to work for him. I will learn so much. My main duties will be conducting tours for constituents when they come to DC. I will also attend briefings and hearings for legislation, which I will take notes on and report back to the congressman. Other than that I will probably be a typical intern, making copies and other such duties. This will be the experience of a lifetime and I am looking forward to it!!
